DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

The Director of Operations is responsible for overseeing effective operations procedures across our company, The ideal candidate will review company documents to make interferences about factors like communication or productivity, working with the HR department and key executives to implement hiring procedures and communicating with upper management to improve company operations.

Responsibilities:

  1. Define, implement and revise operational policies and guidelines for the organization Develop and execute new growth directives
  2. Work with HR to create job descriptions, hire talented personnel and oversee employee training programs
  3. Work with HR to develop and implement staff evaluations
  4. Liaise with departmental heads to develop marketing and financial plans and ensure operational compliance
  5. Keep track of the company’s revenue margins and conduct budget reviews to maximize profits
  6. Oversee client support services
  7. Manage procurement and resource allocation
  8. Oversee high-level managers and be responsible for their growth within the company
  9. Promote company values and be a champion for your team
  10. Participate in client-facing and internal projects and make recommendations
  11. Attend public and corporate events to promote our brand and other business intelligence; travel as needed

Desired Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field such as marketing, business administration, accounting, finance from an accredited institution. MBA preferred.
  2. 6+ years of experience as a Director of operations or 8+ years of experience as an Operations Manager.
  3. 2+ years of experience in the fintech industry
  4. 3+ year of experience working with B2C and B2B customers
  5. 1+ year working at a start-up
  6. 5+ years of supervisory experience
  7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  8. Excellent attention to details
  9. Excellent negotiation skills
  10. Excellent leadership skills
  11. Languages: Proficiency in French and English
  12. Certifications: PMP, PRINCE
  13. Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook mail, Planner, Calendar, Teams, Word, Excel, Sharepoint, Powerpoint), Adobe, Photoshop, and any relevant tools
