Commercial/Sales Agent

The Outside Sales Representative, or Field Sales Representative, meets with customers in person to identify their needs and close sales deals. The main duties include travelling to assigned territories to meet with potential and current customers, negotiating sales contracts and telling clients about new products, updates, and features.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for increasing sales by developing and maintaining relationships with customers and clients. Duties may include identifying prospective customers, following up on potential sales leads, maintaining relationships with existing customers, recommending marketing strategies designed for a target market.

Responsibilities:

  1. Identify and establish contact with potential customers
  2. Schedule and perform product demonstrations with potential customers
  3. Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers
  4. Attend industry trade shows to identify potential sales leads and make meaningful contact with existing customers and prospect new customers
  5. Follow industry trends to identify new opportunities for potential sales
  6. Recommend marketing strategies to target a specific region or demographic
  7. Generate and submit sales reports to management

Desired qualifications:

  1. High school or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as marketing, accounting, finance, or business administration from an accredited institution.
  2. 3+ years of experience as an Accounting Manager
  3. 2+ years of experience in the fintech industry
  4. 1+ experience with B2B and B2C customers
  5. 1+ year of experience working at a start-up
  6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  7. Excellent attention to details
  8. Languages: Proficiency in French and English
  9. Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook mail, Word, Excel, Sharepoint, Powerpoint, Calendar, Teams), sales software or any relevant tools.
