The Finance Manager oversees the financial operations of an organization and advises on investment plans, monitors the company’s finances, and produces financial reports. The ideal candidate will work closely with management to develop and implement strategies and plans to achieve the company’s long-term objectives.
The finance Manager uses their in-depth analytical skills to help executives understand the financial health of the organization for improved decision making and uses data analysis techniques to advise top management on profit maximization strategies.

Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company (payroll, invoicing, and other transactions)
  2. Prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting
  3. Participate in strategic data analysis, research, and modeling for senior company leadership
  4. Support project analysis, validation of plans, and ad-hoc requests
  5. Manage the company’s financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems
  6. Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements

Desired qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field such as accounting, finance, or business administration from an accredited institution.
  2. 3+ years of experience as a Finance Manager or 5+ years of experience as a Financial Analyst.
  3. 2+ years of experience in the fintech industry
  4. 1+ year of supervisory experience
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  6. Excellent attention to details
  7. Certifications: CFA or CPA
  8. Languages: Proficiency in French and English
  9. Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook mail, Word, Excel, Sharepoint, Powerpoint, Calendar, Teams) and Knowledge of financial reporting and data mining tools such as SQL, Access, etc.
