Technical Project Manager

The Technical Project Manager, or a Project Manager, is responsible for managing projects to make sure the proposed plan adheres to the timeline, budget and scope. The duties include planning projects in detail, setting schedules for all stakeholders and executing each step of the project.

Responsibilities:

  1. Establish and implement training processes and strategies for all technical personnel
  2. Analyze, plan and develop requirements and standards in reference to scheduled projects
  3. Assign and oversee the daily tasks of technical personnel while ensuring all subordinates are actively working toward established milestones
  4. Hold regular technical team meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects
  5. Determine and define clear deliverables, roles and responsibilities for staff members required for specific projects or initiatives
  6. Research and evaluate hardware and software technology options and weigh the cost/benefit analysis when making large purchases on behalf of the company
  7. Recruit and train exceptional employees to fulfil posted positions within the technical department
  8. Update and maintain all production technologies ensuring proper maintenance and installation

Desired qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field such as marketing, accounting, finance, computer science, system administration or business administration from an accredited institution. MBA preferred.
  2. 3+ years of experience as a Technical Project Manager or 5+ years of experience as a Project Coordinator, Project Lead or Technical Lead
  3. 2+ years of experience in the fintech industry
  4. 1+ year of supervisory experience
  5. 3+ year of experience delivering projects for B2B and B2C customers
  6. 1+ year of experience working at a start-up
  7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  8. Excellent attention to details
  9. Excellent negotiation skills
  10. Excellent leadership skills
  11. Certifications: PMP or PRINCE
  12. Languages: Proficiency in French and English
  13. Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook mail, Word, Excel, Sharepoint, Powerpoint, Calendar, Planner, Teams), project management software or any relevant tools.
